The classic dog bed Bia was first manufactured in 1969 in Valdemarsvik by Bengt Asklöf. Today the company is managed by Sofia Asklöf, Bengt’s granddaughter. She has run the company since 2009. In 2019, Bia Bed celebrated 50 years on the market.

Bia Bed is a brand in the zoo industry and e-commerce store owned by Bia AB. We manufacture our products in Valdemarsvik, Östergötland and we use Swedish materials as far as possible.

In addition to the brand Bia Bed, we also manufacture durable interior details under the Bia Interiör brand and soft furniture for preschools under the MJUKLeko brand. High quality, Swedish production and attractive design are Bias’ hallmarks.

All our products are manufactured in our factory in Östergötland. The fact that we own it ourselves and that it is located in Sweden means that we have control over the entire manufacturing process, which contributes to sustainable production and good working conditions. We are small enough to be flexible with prototypes, new products and large enough to handle larger orders and projects.
